Creating an educational environment that promotes Jewish ethics and values by example

Each Shabbat morning, with an ethos of “learning about being Jewish is fun”, we welcome young Jews from the ages of 6 to Bar/Bat Mitzvah. TDRS has an amazing group of dedicated and professional teachers. We are justly proud of our young graduates. We create an educational environment that promotes Jewish ethics and values by example.

Students also engage in Hebrew according to ability and fluency but otherwise work according to age for all other subject areas: TaNaCh, Jewish history, Jewish identity- all presented through a creative programme planned by the teachers. All the Festivals are taught through special Activity days which involve programmes that appeal to the senses and satisfy different learning styles.

TDRS classes run from 9am - 12pm each Saturday during regular Government school term at Temple David, 34 Clifton Cres. Mt, Lawley.

The religion school is guided by a committee of Temple David David members who have a vested interest in the Jewish and Hebrew education, bringing vast knowledge and experience to help our group of teachers and parent volunteers.
