Prayer at Temple David

Temple David invites you to attend and participate in our regular and festival services.

Service and Holidays

Weekly services include Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday nights commencing 6.30pm, and Shabbat Shaharit and Torah service on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 12.00pm.

Jewish festivals throughout the year are honoured and celebrated with a combination of services and special events. These include a communal Second Night Seder at Pesach, services and social events in the Sukkah at Sukkot, full choral services at Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, dancing with our Torahs at Simchat Torah, and so forth. Information for visitors

Visitors are always welcome. However, before your first visit to Temple David, the following personal questions are required by our security team. Your answers will be private and confidential. Please send your answers to the Administration Manager – admin@templedavid.org.au.

• Can you please send a scan/picture of your photo ID (Passport/Driver’s Licence) attached to your answers, to make the security process much quicker?

Once our security protocols, based on your answers above, have been satisfied, you will be invited to visit us. The invitation to attend can take up to two weeks so please give yourself this timeframe. You need to bring photographic ID with you on your first visit and a copy of the email approval . Please make yourself known to our security guards at the gate who will be expecting you.

Spare Tallit and Kippot are available rear the sanctuary entrance for all guests.
