Prayer at Temple David

Temple David invites you to attend and participate in our regular and festival services.

Service and Holidays

Weekly services include Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday nights commencing 6.30pm, and Shabbat Shaharit and Torah service on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 12.00pm.

Please note the Shabbat Shaharit and Torah Service has a new start time of 10:30am as of Feb 4, 2017

Jewish festivals throughout the year are honoured and celebrated with a combination of services and special events. These include a communal Second Night Seder at Pesach, services and social events in the Sukkah at Sukkot, full choral services at Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, dancing with our Torahs at Simchat Torah, and so forth. To see the upcoming Jewish holidays see the Hebcal website.

Information for visitors

Visitors are always welcomed, however due to the ever increasing security risks faced by synagogues all over the world, we request that you inform the Temple office beforehand if you wish to attend any service, and that you bring photographic ID (driver’s licence or passport) with you.

Spare Tallit and Kippot are always available for guests from other congregations.

Baby Boomers Dinner

We have very proud to highlight the very popular Baby Boomers dinner. This hugely successful initiative provides a wonderful opportunity once a month for our members born between 1946 and 1964 to get together and enjoy a lovely dinner out with others in their peer group.
